We provide On-Site Training by sending a team of our people to your office, to teach you and your employees how to use SMMS most effectively.
On-Site Training for SMMS would take place over a period of four days. The first day would be in the form of seminars, where an overview of SMMS software installation, demonstration of software features, and the aspects of SMMS are thoroughly described. Three days of training sessions follow this, in order to familiarize the staff with SMMS.

We provide Onboard Training on your vessels themselves, in order to train your crew in using SMMS to their greatest benefit, and enabling them to comprehend the software, and communicate with the head office.
Onboard Training for crew serving on vessels has been segregated into two types:
- Basic Training, which lasts for five days, and gives the new crew member a complete overview of SMMS, comprehensive knowledge as how to use all its practical functions, as well as a Q&A session to help the crew member retain the knowledge.
- Refresher Training, which lasts for two days, and allows a crew member to become familiar again with SMMS, at the start of his contract.

We provide Office Training, where you may send your personnel to us, so that they can undergo any training, in the form of one to one sessions, or executive workshops, neccessary for them to utilize SMMS extensively.
Office Training for SMMS would allow personnel, new to the company or environment, to acquaint themselves with the software at Vertex's Administrative and Support Centre. Here, the employee will undergo training sessions consisting of the introduction to SMMS's Ship & Office versions, usage of the practical functions of SMMS, as well as interactions between the two versions, coverage of miscellaneous functions in SMMS, as well as practice sessions.
